1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of the Solara Sounds website and your attendance at events we run. By using the site or buying a ticket to one of our events, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Solara Sounds is an independent events project based in New York. You can reach us at info@solarasounds.com.
2. Tickets and tables
- Tickets and table reservations are sold through Posh, our ticketing partner. Their terms apply to the purchase itself, including payment and refunds.
- All of our events are 21 and over. Valid government-issued photo identification is required at the door, with no exceptions.
- A ticket admits one person and is only valid for the event and date printed on it.
- Tickets are generally non-refundable. If an event is cancelled by us, we will refund the ticket price through Posh.
- Table minimums are food and beverage spend, before tax and gratuity. Minimums vary by event and are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Do not buy tickets from anyone other than our official links. We cannot honour or replace tickets bought through resellers.
3. At the event
- Venue addresses are shared with ticket holders ahead of the event. Please do not post them publicly.
- We want every night to be welcoming. Harassment, aggression or discrimination of any kind will get you removed without a refund.
- Entry is at the discretion of the venue and our door team. This includes refusing entry or asking someone to leave where there is a safety concern or a breach of venue policy.
- Lineups and set times are subject to change. A change to the lineup is not grounds for a refund.
- Venue capacity limits apply. Arriving with a valid ticket does not guarantee entry once a venue has reached capacity, though we will always try to let you know in advance.
4. Photography and filming
We photograph and film our events, and we use that material on this website, on social media and in future promotion. By attending, you agree that you may appear in it. If you would rather not, speak to a member of our team on the night or email info@solarasounds.com and we will do our best to accommodate you and to remove any image you identify.
5. The mailing list
Our mailing list is run through Laylo. We use your details to tell you about upcoming events and to share locations and ticket links. We do not sell your details to anyone. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us.
6. Brand and content
The Solara Sounds name, the sunburst mark, the wordmark and the artwork on this site belong to Solara Sounds. Please do not use them commercially without asking us first. Photography and recordings remain the property of Solara Sounds and the artists who created them.
The Karmond typeface is licensed from Nian Keun Studio and is used here under that licence.
7. The website
We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors, or that the site is always available. We may change or remove any part of it at any time.
This site links out to services we do not control, including Posh, Laylo, SoundCloud, YouTube and Instagram. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
8. Liability
You attend our events at your own risk. Live music is loud, and we recommend ear protection. We are not liable for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged at an event. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
