About Solara
Come Dance.
Solara Sounds started out of a genuine love for music. We throw house nights across New York for people who want somewhere real to hear it.
The story
A room, a record,
and everyone in it.
Our nights are built to be welcoming, inclusive and open to everyone. Spaces where people connect through energy and sound, whether you came with ten friends or on your own.
How the night feels matters as much as what gets played. Sound you can feel in your chest, a floor with room to move, a door that runs smoothly, and a crowd that came to dance. We look after the room first. The music does the rest.
Solara gives emerging DJs a real stage and a real crowd to play to. A shared love of house music is what holds all of it together.
The mark
One fixed thing in a project with no fixed address.
A rising sun over a spinning record. Solara, visualized. It works as a stamp on a flyer, a sticker on a pole, a shape on a shirt, and a light on a wall.
The venue changes every time, so the mark carries the identity. When you see the sunburst, you know whose night it is before you read a single word.

Inside a Solara night
A back to back, start to finish.
This is the whole thing, uncut. Two of ours trading records at Ploume, no edit, no highlights reel. If you want to know what one of our nights actually sounds like, it is this.
Everything we record ends up on Solara Radio, on SoundCloud and YouTube.
